Matt,
Now that I'm starting to make new catalogs for each shoot, how can I keep my Identity Plate Setup so that it always loads for each new catalog?
Thanks,
Terry

Matt,

Actually, you can invite five people at a time. Once you send your invite you are asked if you want to send more invites. I have sent maybe 20-30 invites so far and there doesn't seem to be an end. I think Adobe wants this public beta to be fully tested.

LR2 beta allows you to output. You cannot import your LR1.x catalogs which is a good thing in this case because it is only beta. Also I wouldn't recommend using it for all you production work especially if you have LR1.x. Lastly, here is the link to the LR1.41 update download http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/?ogn=EN_US-gntray_dl_updates

Is the beta still only allowing you to "play" with it with no way of outputting? I'm with Nic, I don't have time to play, unless it's producing some sort of productive output. Hopefully, this will come to fruition some time soon.

I just had a major computer crash and had to buy a new one. No I'm having trouble getting hold of the 1.4.1 update - Lightroom takes me right to the Beta download instead. What happened with support for existing Lightroom users...?

Hi Matt. Thanks for reminding me about this. I have been meaning to send it to a friend who is patiently waiting for LR2 to come out so he doesn't have to buy 1.4 and then in a few months pay out an upgrade fee to get 2. If I recall correctly, Adobe only gives about 1 month grace if you buy a version that is subsequently upgraded. My friend really wants the 'dodge and burn' feature so LR2 is his only option. Have a good weekend. It is a long weekend up here in Canada. Queen's (official) birthday and all that. Fireworks. Yahoo!

why all the games with this beta....I was one of the early buyers of Lightroom and enjoy it...I am to busy using 1.4 for work to even get into a beta....just get 2.0 one on the market and make the upgrade cost fair for all...but lets not wait a year like last time...

Good to bring this up. I've had various Pro Photo Show listeners have me invite them so they could keep using it.

Adobe has a nice beta program

I have plenty of friends, just no photography buffs that have Lightroom -- how sad for me. I downloaded all of your presets Matt and thoroughly enjoyed working with them. Hopefully I will meet someone along the way that might be able to invite me to for the full beta -- otherwise, I will just be saving my $$$ for the full version.
