Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Killer Tips

I’m sad to say that I just found this keyboard shortcut recently. So I’m both excited about it because now I know a really cool shortcut, but slightly embarrassed because I never found it before. Anyway, here it is. Lightroom has a before and after view of your images which most people know about. However, if you press the backslash key ( \ ) that toggles between your current view and the before view. So if you’re ever unsure about the effect of something you’re doing in Lightroom, just hit the backslash key to see a before view. Hit it again to see the after. Cool huh? Have a great Friday!

Website:I found the coolest little website today. It’s not necessarily photography-specific, but I think it’s a great idea. It’s called SunriseSunset.com and, by the sound of the name, you can pretty much guess what it does. It lists the sunrise and sunset times of some major cities around the world. However, you can go on and make your own calendar for your own cities. It even lists the moon rise/set times as well as the moon phases for all of you nocturnal folks out there. It’s pretty cool. As soon as Lightroom 1.1 was released the requests for more information on the new sharpening sliders started to flood my inbox. So this week we’re going to take a look at the sharpening sliders and I’ll show you exactly what they do. I’ll show you on a landscape photo and a portrait since each type of photo reacts differently to each slider.
